This is a tune I wrote quite a while ago to commemorate the tragic death of Angus, a Scottish Terrier belonging to the director of a museum where I was working at the time. Angus had some apprehension on his final evening and was disinclined to take his walk with his mistress. Indeed, the walk resulted in an unfortunate encounter with a truck. Written in the style of a traditional Scottish Air, the piece is here performed by John Marsh Bigelow in his own arrangement for classical guitar.
